Jill's knowledge about the history, politics, science and technical challenges of operating in the Antarctic made for a fascinating introduction to the important work that this goes on at the bottom of our planet.

Our speaker on the 22nd August was Jill Thompson, Head of Building Services at the British Antarctic Survey (BAS) based in Cambridge.
