Talk by Dr Andy Murray

Andy Murray, ultra marathon runner, will be visiting Galashiels on Friday 10 June. He will be guest speaker at a Cheese & Wine being held in St Peter's Church at 7.00pm. The Inner Wheel Club of Galashiels have organised the event and profits will go to the  Yamaa Trust for whom he is the medical advisor.

The epic journey that Andrew undertook from John O Groats to the Sahara Desert. lasted 78 days and he ran for 2659 miles, completing his challenge 7 days ahead of time, as a result of averaging a staggering 34 miles a day, for 78 consecutive days (thats over 100 marathons!).
