The Club, along with Melrose and Selkirk Rotary Clubs, helped with parking at the first Abbotsford Arrow competition. Winner of the Abbotsford Arrow was Julie Plunkett from Leithholm. All the more interesting was the fact that Julie made the arrow herself, presented it to Abbotsford and won the first competition. The arrow is on show at Abbotsford House.
