In July, Pakistan was hit by the worst floods the country had experienced in more than 80years. 406 ShelterBoxes have already been dispatched in response to the many families rescued from the floods in the Punjab and Khyber Pukhtunkhwa (KPK) regions.

ShelterBox are working with partners in Pakistan to ensure the most the most effective and efficient distribution of aid.

ShelterBox's work in Haiti is continuing seven months on after one of the worst natural disasters the world has ever seen.

With transitional shelter slow to appear, ShelterBox disaster relief tents have been key to survival for tens of thousands of Haitian families. ShelterBox's work in the country, and the determination of the SRTs who have been deployed to Haiti, has been praised by other aid workers.

Lisa Carnie is a physiotherapist voluntarily working in Carrefour La Mort, north of Port-Au-Prince, with UK-based charity, the Haiti Hospital Appeal. 'I was worried for my patients' immediate safety given the terrible conditions in Haiti,' said Lisa. 'However, after a chance meeting with ShelterBox Response Team member Arnold Kelly (NZ) and seeing the equipment inside a ShelterBox, I was able to discharge my patients knowing that they had practical day-to-day living equipment and shelter.

'These boxes are a dream come true for those forced to live on the streets of Port au Prince in temperatures in the high 30's and may mean the difference between survival or not. ShelterBoxes really are life-savers.'

More than 27,000 ShelterBoxes have been committed to Haiti, more than any other deployment in the charity's history
