Eleven people in Cambridge have been given advanced warning that they have high blood pressure, thanks to a joint Rotary and The Stroke Association health awareness initiative.
Eleven of forty three shoppers in the Grafton Centre were given advanced warning that they have high blood pressure during free blood pressure checks on Saturday 17th April. The Rotary Club of South Cambridge joined the national initiative to help cut down the alarming number of strokes recorded in the UK every year.
The checks were carried out by members of Cambridge St John
