Supporting SEED in Tanzania

The charity is called SEED (Secondary Education to Encourage Development) which supports and sponsors students in rural Tanzania.

It was started when Emma Brice, who is a primary school teacher in Malvern, spent a 6 months sabbatical living and working in a rural village in the Iringa region in 2003. Here she wrote lesson plans and helped to deliver environmental and health education lessons and community seminars. When Emma returned to school she realised that some further help was needed and she set up her charity (SEED).

SEED supports both boys and girls, and especially orphans. The charity
