Rotary Club of Bexhill Honoured for Foodbank Support
Volunteers recognised at annual cream tea at Ashburnham Place
The Rotary Club of Bexhill has been honoured by the Bexhill & Battle Foodbank in recognition of its ongoing support for local people in need.
The club received the recognition during the foodbank’s annual volunteers’ afternoon cream tea, held at Ashburnham Place. The event brought volunteers and supporters together to celebrate the time and commitment they give to the charity.
Rotary members support the foodbank through door-to-door collections every Tuesday afternoon. They also help with static collections at Tesco, encouraging shoppers to donate food and other essential items.
The honour highlights the important contribution made by Rotary volunteers and the value of organisations working together to support the local community.
The Rotary Club of Bexhill remains committed to helping the Bexhill & Battle Foodbank continue its vital work.
