Sparky’s First Coach Trip!

‘Rotary North East One Life Initiative’ mascot Sparky is getting ready for his very first luxury coach ride!

A huge thank you to 'Lees of Durham' in Langley Moor for generously providing Sparky with a complimentary coach ride to attend 'Restart a Heart Peterborough 2026' to help spread the life-saving message of CPR!

Sparky and the team are delighted to be able support Dani Phillipson and the Resuscitation Team at the North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust (NWAFT) who have organised this free CPR training event as part of a campaign to train 2026 people in CPR during the course of 2026.

The mission? Train 2026 people in CPR during 2026

Where: Queensgate Shopping Centre, Peterborough, PE1 1NT

When: Wednesday 21 October 2026

Learn CPR. Save a life.

Working in partnership with emergency services, charities, and community organisations, the event is aimed at helping more people gain the confidence and skills to save a life. Every second counts, and every person trained makes a difference.

The event is open to all members of the public and will include hands-on CPR training, guidance on recognising cardiac arrest, and instructions on how to use a defibrillator.
