Rotary Donates £1,000 to support Great North Air Ambulance on the Isle of Man - August 2026

Great North Air Ambulance Service - GNAS to provide critical care helicopter air ambulance response to the Isle of Man.


It costs £124,000 to fund Helicopter Emergency Air Ambulance service on the Isle of Man providing a vital emergency air bridge between the Island and specialist centres across the UK, ensuring patients can access life-saving care quickly and safely. 
This service complements the existing aircraft air ambulance patient transfer service and the patient transport service using commercial airlines and the IOM Steam Packet Co, which allow Manx Patients to access specialist health care in the UK.
