A Night at the Opera
Chelwood Bridge Rotary Club celebrated a highly successful evening of music and fundraising with its recent event, A Night at the Opera, held at St Andrew’s Church on 25th April.
The performance, presented by Opera in a Box, attracted an audience of more than 100 people who enjoyed a wonderful programme of popular operatic favourites and much-loved musical theatre songs. The beautiful renditions and lively atmosphere made for a memorable evening that was warmly received by all in attendance.
Chelwood Bridge Rotary Club expressed its gratitude to everyone who supported the event, including the performers, volunteers, and audience members whose generosity helped make the evening such a success.
The event raised an impressive £1,800, with proceeds going towards a range of local and international charities supported by the club. The funds will help continue important charitable work both within the community and overseas.
Members of Chelwood Bridge Rotary Club described the evening as a tremendous success and were delighted to see the community come together in support of worthwhile causes through an enjoyable night of entertainment.
