This year's District Handover was less formal than in previous years, with an afternoon tea at the Alona Hotel. Sandwiches, scones and strawberry tarts were capped with a look at some highlights of clubs' activities throughout the year, some presentations for service to the District, the presentation of a new club's charter, the installation of new District Governor Brenda and the introduction of her team.
To top it all, the raffle raised over £700 for The Rotary Foundation, which will be split between End Polio Now and Foundation's Endowment Fund.
All in all, a great afternoon of Rotary.
