Welcome to the Community and Vocational Service Home page.

Community Service is about helping and supporting your local community and communities throughout the Rotary District 1320.  Our experience and skills in community work and volunteering, place us in an ideal position to work with local organisations such as charities, hospitals, schools etc.   Rotarians within the District are currently helping out at food banks.  A number of Rotary Clubs support Rotary KidsOut events and many have festive events including Santa’s sleigh.

If you have a project planned that you would like to publicise or would like to gain further support for, then please contact any member of the Community and Vocational Support Team. We are here to provide information, help and support to every Club.

The team would like to hear about your projects.  Please don’t keep your good ideas secret.

If you would like a member of the Community & Vocational Support Team to visit your Club to talk about Community projects, please contact the Team Leader, Jan Henderson.

Empowering Girls

Within society, girls and women continue to face challenges in their everyday lives, including unequal access to educational choice and opportunity, exploitation and abuse including human trafficking, lack of access to menstrual hygiene products, wage discrimination, injustice and much more.

tary’s objective is to encourage us all to work together with our communities to modify and create service projects to enhance the quality of life for girls and improve their ability to live safe, healthy and productive lives.

If you would like further information, please contact Ken Drummond.

Games Challenge

The Games Challenge is a new idea for a new District.  The more Clubs that participate the more fun and fellowship we can have.

For further information, please contact Louise Begbie.
