District Rotary Foundation Chair Richard Cooper and I are really looking forward to our “Cheese, Wine and Chat” evening on 23 February. It’s something a little different, a little more relaxed, and very much in the spirit of Rotary fellowship.
There’s no formal agenda, no speeches to endure, and no PowerPoint slides lurking in the background. Instead, it’s simply an opportunity to unwind together, enjoy some good company, and have an informal conversation about all things Rotary. Whether you want to ask a question, share an idea, raise a concern, or just listen in with a glass of something nice, you’ll be very welcome.
All you need to do is pull up a chair, pour yourself your favourite drink, and have a few nibbles within reach. Then just Zoom in and join us for what promises to be a friendly, open, and enjoyable evening. You can stay for ten minutes or the whole session — it’s entirely up to you.
It is important that you register for this event (link in 23rd Jan DS news)
We hope this relaxed format will give members across the district a chance to connect, chat, and feel part of the wider Rotary family. So mark the date, get the cheese board ready, and we’ll see you on the 23rd.
