For the first time in District 1285, we are organising an in-person seminar specifically designed for all Direct Members and Rotaractors. This event is an excellent opportunity to meet local Rotarians from the North West of England.
The Direct Membership pilot initiative is a new concept initiated by Rotary International that started in our district just over 18 months ago. Both Direct Membership and Rotaract are steadily growing in the North West of England.
The seminar program aims to:
- Introduce attendees to Rotary's vision and values, areas of focus, activities, and benefits.
- Provide an overview of the district and club projects, service opportunities, and Rotary’s charitable initiatives.
- Explore how Direct Members and Rotaractors can engage with and connect to the wider Rotary Community.
**Date:** Saturday, 27th September
**Time:** 10:30 pm for 11.00am start, to 12:30 pm
**Venue:** Roebuck, Church Rd, Urmston, Manchester M41 6HD
