Introducing young people to the power of volunteering
Interact Clubs are a junior version of Rotary, being sponsored by individual Rotary Clubs and are designed for 12-18 year olds.
Every Year Interactors are required to complete at least 2 projects, one of which is overseas. Thsi helpos build friendships and a better understanding with young people in other contries
Interact clubs are predominently found in Secondary or High Schools or 6th Form Colleges and the memebrs can be from just one school or several schools in the same area.
Interact offers young people the opportunity to:
* Develop their leadership skills
* Develop respect for others
* Understand the value of individual responsibility and hard work
* Advance international understanding and goodwill
Interact has become a worldwide phenomenon and is one of Rotary's fastest growing programs with more than 330,000 young people involved in 14,000 clubs in 139 countries
