Young Environmentalist
Protecting the planet is one of Rotary's 7 Areas of Focus and this competition allows young people to develop ideas and projects which meet one of the greatest challeges of our time
This competition is open to budding environmentalists up to 17 years of age.
Each year there is a theme for the young people to explore, investigate and undertake an environmental sustainable project.
There are a number of age group catogories
Juniors up to 10 years
Intermediate 11 - 13 years
Seniors 14 - 17 years
In each category there will be an individual and a team competition beginning at the local level with the successful submissions going on to the District Heats and then on to the Regional and National Finals.
