World Ocean Day online seminar

World Ocean Day Webinar – 9 June, 7.00pm

World Ocean Day celebration Tuesday 9 June (yes we know the actual day is the 8th ! ).  The Rotary Direct Member Hub in Cumbria & Lancashire invite you to celebrate World Ocean Day with a presentation by Gloria Barnett.  This event is expected to be well attended so please register as soon as possible using the link below.

Gloria Barnett, also known as The Weird Fish Lady, is an ocean expert, underwater videographer, and award-winning author. A passionate and engaging speaker, she shares real underwater footage and first-hand experiences from her dives around the world to reveal why oceans matter and how we can protect them. Her talks are informative, inspiring, and thought-provoking—leaving audiences with a deeper understanding of the marine world and our responsibility to care for it.

Cumbia Wildlife Trust will also share with us some potential volunteering opportunities in our coastal areas.
