Penrith Rotary Charity Golf Day 2025

Last year our Charity Golf Competition raised over £5,500, all of which is being used to support those in need at home and abroad. This year, with your help we hope to raise funds for Blood Bikes Cumbria and the Salvation Army Foodbank (Penrith) as well as the various charities and good causes we support.

To that end, you are invited to take part in our annual golf competition to be held at Penrith Golf Club on Friday 25th July 2025.
The tournament is an AM/AM Stableford competition open to ladies, gents and mixed teams of four with the two best scores counting on each hole except for the 18th where all scores will count. Handicap allowance will be 100% of full handicap adjusted by the slope index up to a maximum of 24 strokes for men and 36 for ladies.

Tee times are available between 9.00 am and 4.00 pm. The entry fee is £120 per team, which includes entry to the Twos competition. Regrettably, this is a slight increase on last year’s price, but our costs have gone up, and our entry fee of £30 per head still represents excellent value compared to the usual £50 summer 2025 weekday green fee.

Meals will be available on payment at the clubhouse throughout the day, and complimentary refreshments will be provided on the course.
There will be many prizes, but the first prize will be £200 and a voucher for a four ball to play at a quality course.
