Once again the club staged the annual fundraising Burns Night supper at the
Roundthorn Hotel. Enjoyment eventually gave way to apprehension as a heavy
snow fall marooned some of the guests who were obliged to book an impromptu
overnight stay. Other hotel guests were said to be taken aback at breakfast
when they were joined by a group wearing black tie and ball gowns!!
