DAVID SWETTENHAM David, while at no point ever being a keen cyclist, admits he fell by accident into the role of exporting thousands of bicycles to schools in Africa each year, through the organisation he joint founded with his partner Helen King - jole rider and bikes4Africa. jole rider delivers a unique approach to the learning world, providing innovative learning opportunities for children, young adults and even sentenced offenders in the UK. The purpose being to open doors to greater personal abilities through improved access, awareness, skills and life chances. The mission is to empower children to change their world and, in time, change ours too. David has been described as both a business and a social entrepreneur in one. David would describe himself as a simple man doing his bit to change lives positively but possibly, as it happens, with the biggest collection of bicycles you have seen! |
