Thank You to Our Supporters

As we approach the December festive season and the end of 2025, Chinnor Rotary members would like to extend heartfelt thanks to all our supporters in Chinnor and the neighbouring villages. Your generosity, enthusiasm, and community spirit have made this year’s projects possible and helped us to make a meaningful impact throughout the year.

Highlights of 2025 Community Projects

• Family Film Matinee (March): In partnership with the Red Kite Family Centre, we hosted a Family Film Matinee, providing a fun and free outing for local families. Special thanks go to RedHill Construction and Park Street Dental Clinic, whose sponsorship allowed families to enjoy the event at no cost. We also appreciate the logistical support from Chinnor Village, which helped the day run smoothly.
• Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA): We supported Sei Revidon, an 18-year-old from Chinnor, in attending the prestigious Rotary Youth Leadership Award programme in Snowdonia this July. Our thanks to the Chinnor Beer Festival Committee, Haddenham Beer Festival Trust, The Clare Foundation, and MJ Sports Warehouse for their generous backing. We hope to encourage even more local young people to seize this opportunity in 2026.
• Bipul’s Kitchen at Chinnor Beer Festival in August: Our corporate member, Bipul’s Kitchen, actively participated in the Chinnor Beer Festival, helping to promote Chinnor Rotary and strengthen our ties within the community.
• Purple4Polio Crocus Planting: Members and local residents joined forces to plant Purple4Polio crocus corms along High Street, near Doveleat, Chinnor. This colourful initiative raises awareness of Rotary’s ongoing campaign to eradicate polio worldwide. Our gratitude goes to Doveleat residents for helping us complete the planting quicker.

Seasonal Celebrations

To round off another successful year, our annual Christmas dinner will be held at Bipul’s Kitchen in early December. We look forward to celebrating with our members, reflecting on our achievements, and sharing plans for the coming year.
