The main aim is to spread the Indian tradition to everyone and share its value of love and harmony that bind a family and a community at large.

The evening will be raising money for two extraordinary charities, Alzheimer’s Dementia Support and Rotary’s Vocational Training Team Project in Uganda.

  • Alzheimer’s Dementia Support ‘ADS, work throughout Windsor, Maidenhead, Ascot, Slough and Langley; and is a charity which offers constructive practical guidance as well as a wide range of services designed to help people in the local community whose lives are directly or indirectly affected by Dementia.  They strive to make a difference by helping those impacted cope better whilst giving them the opportunity to experience a little joy and laughter during these challenging times.
  • Rotary's Vocational Training Team (VTT) is a group of professionals who travel to another country, either to learn more about their profession or to teach local professionals about a particular field.  A group, led by Maidenhead Bridge Rotary, will be going to Uganda to help to train local people in child and maternal health issues e.g. emergency birthing.

Profit made from this exciting new event will be split equally between these two amazing charities so please do support us by coming along!
