A highlight of 2017

Doing something special to help others.

Organisers of the Saffery Rotary Walk were very pleased that the Lt-Governor of Guernsey, Vice Admiral Sir Ian Corder, selected last year’s walk as one of his highlights of 2017. In recapping his first year within a New Year press article, Sir Ian mentioned the “fabulously sunny Saturday in June when, along with almost 1000 islanders of all ages, Kathryn and I tackled the Saffery Rotary round-the-island walk.

“The day exemplified everything we have come to love about Guernsey. Beautiful scenery, everyone out enjoying themselves. People coming together from all parts of the island to do something special to help others.”

A recommendation doesn’t come much stronger than that!

So to share this fantastic experience yourself take the benefit of earlybird registration rates and get yourself booked on the 2018 Saffery Rotary Walk which will take place on Saturday 9 June 2018.
