The Bronte Birthplace Walk

Join us as we recreate the Brontës’ historic move from Thornton to Haworth!

Start: Brontë Birthplace Thornton 9:30 for 10:00    End: Brontë Parsonage Museum Haworth 16:00 - 16:30

What to Expect
•    Dress in period costume – highly recommended
•    Walk with the horses and cart in Thornton and/or Haworth
•    Farewell to Thornton event at The Bell Chapel
•    Re-enact the Brontës scenic journey on foot (see route map)
•    Welcome event at The Parsonage
•    Raise funds for the Brontë Birthplace

Thornton event – horses and cart:
Market St -Brontë Birthplace  -  South Square - Bell Chapel (farewell to Thornton) -  Thornton Community Centre – Black Horse.

Walk to Haworth

Haworth event – horses and cart: 
Haworth Railway station  - Sun Lane – Fleece on Main St - Parsonage
