We set up a Justgiving page to raise funds from sponsors with the aim of raising £1,000 for Shelterbox. Members enthusiastically planned their walks with friends and family or alone, in Covid safe ways. We took advantage of the good weather to get out and enjoy the exercise whilst also raising funds to help families have shelter after disaster strikes.
Thanks to many generous sponsors we exceeded our target and raised over £2,000, enough for four Shelterboxes! The Club members wish to thank everyone who supported this project at a time when fundraising is so much more difficult.
