North Group Technology Tournament at Catterick

The tournament was held at Catterick Garrison. Some 120 students from 11 local secondary schools, spent a day trying to make a specific type of bridge from a selection of simple materials. The event, organised by the Rotary Clubs of Northallerton Mowbray, Northallerton, Richmond, Thirsk and Wensleydale was a great success. In a close finish, the winning teams on the day were Foundation, Thirsk School, Intermediate, Allertonshire, Northallerton and Advanced Richmond School.
