Rotary Club of Tyneside 25th Charter Night Anniversary

The formal celebration was held at The Mansion House, Jesmond on 4th March, 2010 just in advance of the actual anniversary date of 7th March.


The celebration party was attended by members, their partners and a number of special guests, including the Lord Mayor of Newcastle upon Tyne and The Lady Mayoress. Other special guests were the District Governor, Tony Fairley and his wife, Cynthia; our founding proponent, Bill Hogg (Past DG and Past President of Newcastle West Club); our sponsoring Club's current President, Iain Bee (again of Newcastle West) and his wife Muriel; Professor Sugata Mitra and his wife, Sushmita; non-Rotarian Paul Harris Fellow Gordon Ibinson, MBE, accompanied by his daughter Elaine; and Miss Hannah Bayman, BBC TV and Radio personality, who was our speaker that evening.
