Rotary International in Great Britain & Ireland’s (‘RotaryGBI’) People of Action Polio Award (‘Award’) seeks to recognise significant non-financial contribution for a Polio free world by Rotarian and non-Rotarian individuals, clubs, groups, companies and organisations in these islands. That contribution may or may not include Purple4Polio initiatives for End Polio Now in particular and be in their local area, Rotary district, regionally, nationally or across the whole of RotaryGBI.

There will up to 10 People of Action Polio Awards (‘Award’) given annually. The Award will be a Certificate presented at an appropriate event and will normally be made by the RotaryGBI President/Chairman, Rotary International Director or Trustee of The Rotary Foundation during a visit to the area of each successful candidate.

There is a short timescale for nominations. Please return any duly completed nomination forms to DG Jo by the 28th July. Please note that the forms must be received by the organiser duly completed on the 31st July. so Jo must have time to review them.
