ShelterBox Update

April 2026

As spring unfolds, I am looking forward to joining with many of you as we work together to support the work of ShelterBox: I already have a number of talks and events in the diary which is very pleasing. In this regard you may wish to consider one of the initiatives that ShelterBox is unfolding, namely Tea in a Tent.

This tea-party-inspired fundraising activity was a great success last year, with around 50 clubs taking part across GB&I. It is a wonderful opportunity to bring your local community together for tasty treats under shelter. Whether it’s under a gazebo, in a marquee or beneath a garden umbrella, hosting your Tea in a Tent is made easy with the online materials from ShelterBox https://shelterbox.org/fundraise/tea-in-a-tent/
