Rotary Exchange opportunity in the US 2027

On 5th May 2026 10 Americans from the Finger lakes area of New York state are coming to Scotland on a Group Friendship Exchange. They will be hosted in Aboyne and Upper Deeside before moving on to Angus /Tayside and then Perth. Their stay is about 12 days. While they are in Scotland they will be hosted by Rotarians in these areas. Each area will organise things and activities for the Americans to do during their stay.

The Americans will pay their own way. The idea of these exchanges is to promote friendship and exchange ideas. The way the exchange works is that the Americans come to stay for approx. 12 days and then a return visit of Rotarians from Scotland is arranged.

This usually happens about 4-5 months after the Americans have returned to America. However the return trip to America won’t take place till 2027 due to various commitments on the America side. If any Rotarian would be interested in a trip to America in 2027 please let me know.
