The day commemorates the vision of founder Paul Harris. It serves as an opportunity for more than 45,000 clubs worldwide to showcase their humanitarian work and commitment to "Service Above Self".
How to Participate
Individual clubs often host their own "Rotary Days" throughout the year to engage with their local communities. Common activities include:
- Volunteer Projects: Organising local clean-ups or food bank drives.
- Public Awareness: Hosting "A Taste of Rotary" events to introduce potential new members to the club.
- Fundraising: Charity dinners, quiz nights, or auctions.
