Success for District 1010!


Rotary GB&I Young Photographer Competition

National Final 2014

We sent off three entries from 1010 for this year's Rotary GB&I Young Photographer competition.  All three figured in the winners.  Worth celebrating and encouraging other clubs to put in entries for 2015.

  • Juniors - Blackburn and District Club
  • Intermediate - Auchterarder and District Club
  • Senior - Peterhead Club.

This competition is split into three sections and each section had photographic entries from 12 Junior, 21 intermediate and 23 senior, a total of 56 sets of photographs. The three judges were extremely complimentary at the high standard of the photographs and commented upon the challenge they had been given.

The judges spent some considerable time deliberating and choosing their respective shortlist which they then whittled down to the three winning places. The judges considered the standard so high that they have awarded additional
