Plant Sale Report 2026
The weather was excellent, the plants were blooming marvellously and the cakes were delicious. None of this would have meant a thing if it hadn't been for the help from Rotarians and friends.
Van man Gerry and his partner Mel moved the plants to the Croft Hall and set up tables with tempting displays. This was all accomplished with the help of Nick, Robin, Robert, Alan and the two David's, W and S. They also played their part in manning the tills, helping our customers and clearing up.
An integral part of the day were the excellent refreshments of tea, coffee and delicious home made cake. We have Tricia, Sarah and Maureen to thank for that.
Rotarians and associated friends turned up with some great plants. Thanks to Hugh, Keith, Jerry, Judy Cornick and Graeme and Barbara for your donations.
Thanks also goes to Myles and his family who contributed with transport, signs and help.
All the above made for a very successful plant sale at the Croft Hall with a final tally-up of £624 for the charity account.
We had so many contributors I may have left someone out. If you are that one, sorry I missed you and many thanks for your help.
