Willowbrook Chatty Cafe 'Thank You'

Thank you message from Chatty Cafe, for our donation towards the Christmas party.

President Graham Barker & Community Service Chairman Ian Hughes presented a cheque for Willowbrook Hospice Chatty Cafe (October 25).

The money went towards the Christmas party.

The Willowbrook Chatty Cafés are designed to help reduce loneliness and promote social interaction by encouraging people to engage in casual conversations over a cup of tea or coffee.
What is a Willowbrook Chatty Café?
Our Chatty Cafés are in locations across St Helens and Knowsley and provide a safe space to encourage people to talk with others, you don’t have to be alone to sit there—you just have to be open to conversation.
Led by our Chatty Café Co-ordinator Diane, we have regular speakers and entertainment – the police talking about scams and keeping safe, the St Helens Library service, chair base yoga, choirs and even bingo – there is something for everyone.

Their message....
I just wanted to say a huge thanks again for your wonderful donation towards our Chatty Café Christmas party.
It was incredibly well attended across all of the groups (we had to have a waiting list).
The whole afternoon was full of good food, laughter and more importantly friendly chatter.
As you can see from the pictures attached, everyone had a wonderful afternoon.
Your financial support meant we could buy everyone a gift – we had personalised Chatty Café mugs made and Santa gave them out.
I wish you and all of your members a Happy Christmas and a prosperous 2026.
Kind regards
Diane
