Visit from Rotary Club of Kyiv Synergy, Ukraine
Professor Dr. Maryna Dolzhenko from the Rotary Club of Kyiv Synergy and her daughter Tetiana Gick gave an update on our Rotary club donation towards echocardiogram equipment for urgent patient care at the Kyiv hospital.
Newbury Rotary Club was delighted to host two visiting Rotarians, one being Professor Dr. Maryna Dolzhenko from the Rotary Club of Kyiv Synergy Ukraine. Their visit provided an opportunity to thank the club for its support of a new initiative to supply a medical device for patients with cardiovascular diseases.
The project is part of the club's continuing humanitarian commitment to assisting those impacted by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. During the visit, Professor Dr. Maryna Dolzhenko presented the club with a painting of Kyiv in winter, capturing the beauty of the city before the war started.
This gesture reflected the strong friendship and solidarity between Rotary clubs, united in supporting communities facing challenging circumstances.
