On St David’s Day, Rhondda Rotary had the pleasure of welcoming the wonderful Helyn Latimer from Puppet Theatre Wales to our evening soirée. The event was a lively celebration, bringing together members for an entertaining and insightful occasion.
Helyn delighted us with a performance of “Heulwen’s Hat”, a show that proved particularly fitting for the festivities. The story was warmly received and set the tone for an engaging evening.
Following the show, Helyn led a fascinating discussion about puppets and the art of puppeteering. Her expertise and enthusiasm sparked lively conversation among attendees. One member was so captivated by the experience that he found himself conversing with Heulwen and even discussing Rotary membership with a prospective member.
We extend our sincere thanks to Puppet Theatre Wales and Helyn Latimer for providing such an enjoyable and informative evening.
