Donation - Family Relocation

Being the closest Rotary Club to Aberdare, we were contacted by Chichester Harbour Rotary Club regarding a family who were moving to the area and needed help with home essentials.

Having dealt previously with the homeless charity Boomerang Cardiff, we arranged for a delivery of the following items, funded by the Community Shop:

Double bed, single bed, appropriate mattresses, bedside tables, coffee table, desk and chair for the eldest boy aged 12.

The Community Shop volunteers also put together and delivered a starter pack consisting of duvets, sheets, pillows, pots, pans, cutlery, crockery and other ancillary items.

The family are "Happy as Larry", and like the welcoming neighbours and atmosphere of the Welsh Valleys.
