Wendy Lewis - Providing Christmas Dinners

Rhondda Rotary were pleased to welcome Wendy Lewis to the club last night, to give a talk on the work she does in collaboration with Chris at the Ivor Hael, in providing Christmas Dinners to those who may not otherwise have one.
The scheme was setup 8 years ago by Chris at the Ivor Hael, with Wendy having an active roll for the last 5 years.
Last year, 140 meals were prepared by the staff at the Ivor Hael and delivered by a team of 15 volunteers, including Wendy.
As a mark of appreciation for the work they do, Rhondda Rotary made a donation to assist with this year’s costs.
The cheque was presented to Wendy, by long standing Rotarian Martin Nagle.
