THAT’LL BE THE DAY FOR PAUL SARTORI and ROTARY

The Rotary Club of Narberth & Whitland joined forces with Milford Haven Rotary Club to support a great variety show over two nights at Folly Farm. The newly installed President of the Narberth & Whitland Club was delighted that the Rock’n Roll show, which played to packed houses each night, was such a huge success and fully appreciated by the audience.

The Promoter Phil Thompson OBE has run the spectacular event for the past 13 years to raise charitable funds for Paul Sartori the At Home Hospice Service. The music ranged from the 50’s right through to the 80’s with the versatile musicians interchanging their instruments and costumes to great effect.

In the photo the leader of the band Trevor is seen shaking hands with President Elaine. From Milford Rotary Club, Paul Bridgeman and Paul Martin are on the far left of the picture with Phil Thompson, the promoter kneeling, flanked by Rotarian  Robinin his white Rotary T shirt.

The other star performers in their bright outfits from left to right were Dave, Gary, Nikki, Jane, Clive, Mark Jarrod and Phil.

The next major charity  fundraiser promoted by The Narberth & Whitland Rotary Club at Folly Farm will be world-famous Tenor Paul Potts. He was the inaugural winner of Britain’s Got Talent. He now tours the world and the Rotary Club is delighted that he agreed to do his only show this year  in the UK right here in Pembrokeshire. His previous concert at Folly Farm in 2017 was a sell-out and tickets went on sale for the first time at That’ll Be The Day.

Tickets are available from local stores Rock’n Rolla, Narberth; Dales Music, Tenby and Ocky White Travel, Haverfordwest.

Online tickets may also be obtained on www.nwrotary.co.uk
