Community Service

Community Service is one of the mainstays of Rotary Service and it helps Rotarians to plan and undertake projects that will help to improve the lives of people of all ages, abilities and diverse needs in our local communities. Amongst the many regular local and national projects undertaken are raising awareness of and improving the local environment, improving literacy, raising awareness of health issues, foodbanks, Shoeboxes, KidsOut and Children in Need. From time to time there is also a need for Rotarians to promote projects for Lal emergencies and disaster situations such as the recent flooding in various parts of the country. Community Service offers a great opportunity to raise awareness of Rotary Clubs and the wider work of Rotary and helps Rotarians to work together for a better world. Every Rotarian can make a difference.
