Llantwit Major Rotary Club held a very special Meeting on Monday 15th October when they were joined by the senior officers of the Llantwit Major School Interact Club which they sponsor and encourage.
Back in May the two Clubs jointly organised a Duck Race which raised some 600 pounds for Ty Hafan and LATCH ,the childrens' cancer charity, and on Monday Sian Howell of Latch was presented with her cheque by Rotarian Neville Farthing and Lauren Peet, Past President of the Interact club.
The current Interact senior officers were welcomed by Rotary President John Clarke and their president, Zoe Ann Roberts outlined their fundraising plans for the coming year. President John congratulated them on attracting nearly 50 Llantwit School pupils to their Club and said that their achievements reflected great credit both on them and their School.
