We covered a lot of business today, from approving money for Christmas Pensioners Lunches in Knighton and Presteigne, to £200 for Christmas parcels for those families most disadvantaged at the food bank in Knighton and Presteigne. We also approved donations to Village Water which is a Rotary supported project.
We also discussed the fundraising events of November and distribution of money made for each. This included donations to Hope House Children's Hospice from our Quiz on November 17th and a donation to the Royal British Legion from President Angela's handmade felt poppies. We are justifiably proud of our achievements!
