This was an enjoyable afternoon event. The Centre is committed to tracking Near Earth Objects that could potentially hit the Earth....


A visit to the Spaceguard Centre near Knighton in Powys, mid Wales.

The Centre is committed to tracking Near Earth Objects that could potentially hit the Earth as part of an international project. Asteroids hit the Earth more often then people would like to believe, and they regularly pass very close to us.

Amazing views over Wales, Shropshire and Herefordshire.
