This was a very enjoyable evening, with 23 Rotarians and welcome guests gracing the Lion Hotel in Leintwardine dressed in posh frocks and black ties.
The food was excellent, the service first class and the company was amiable.
The entertainment was varied, from poems and prose, to jokes and Christmas songs/carols. The winner of the Richard Morgan trophy for the best entertainment of the night ( voted for by our guests Carol, Jennifer, Clive, Ann and Maureen) was Angela for her inspired interpretation of a Stanley Holloway monologue "Albert and the Lion".
We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and that 2023 brings all you wish for!
