THE YOUNG PHOTOGRAPHER COMPETITION IS BACK!
CALLING ALL BUDDING YOUNG PHOTOGRAPHERS
from North Herefordshire, South Shropshire and Powys to take part in the “COLOURS OF NATURE" YOUNG PHOTOGRAPHER COMPETITION.
Are you a budding young photographer?
Do you want to have a reason to step outside and see colours of nature all around you? Why not take part in the Knighton and District Rotary Club’s Young Photographer competition?
“COLOURS OF NATURE” is the theme for this competition and entry is FREE. You can use your phone or camera but please try not to use too much “photoshopping” afterwards!
Explore the nooks and crannies of your garden, in the branches of the trees, in vast landscapes or hiding under the undergrowth - there is colour everywhere....
The competition ends on JANUARY 31ST 2022, gift vouchers will be awarded to the best three entries in each age group and certificates will be sent to all entrants.
Age groups are:
6 to 11 years
12 to 15 years
and 16 to 18 years
Only one entry will be accepted per person, so decide which of your photographs best shows your skill and imagination. Your photo needs to be less than 5MB in size and we will be looking for that something special which we know you can produce for us.
Send your photo to knightonrotaryphotographic@gmail.com, and if you need any advice then you can contact us through this email address too….
If you can include your name, where you are from and why you love the photograph you are entering that would be great. Also some contact details as to where we can contact you if you are a winner…..
Remember if you take any photographs which include children you must obtain WRITTEN PERMISSION from a parent or guardian to include them in your image.
All participants will hopefully be invited to an exhibition of the photographs and prize presentation - venue yet to be decided.
We look forward very much to seeing your photos, so step outside, look around you and capture the "COLOURS OF NATURE"
PS by entering this competition to agree to the Knighton and District Rotary Club using your photographs in future publicity.
