We enjoyed our time in London with Rotary members and Rotary friends, including Jennifer & Clive and Robert & Jane. Most of us came down the day before and stayed in different venues across the city, including the Ibis hotel in Shepherds Bush ( this was in an ideal location with parking, comfortable rooms, close to the underground with many restaurants nearby ). We arrived at Buckingham Palace at 9.30am had a free flowing tour with headphones until late morning, had lunch at our regular Italian venue when in London then went to the Leonardo Da Vinci sketches exhibition in the afternoon. An enjoyable and sociable day with good friends and hopefully to be repeated on September 10th 2020 when we go to Royal Mews and a show matinee. See you there!
