Quiz and supper at the Baron

Tonight we enjoyed another of Rotarian Paul's challenging quizzes for charity.


We had a good turn out for this event, which is always very enjoyable. Quizmaster Paul set some challenging but fair questions, the photo round ( statues ) was interesting, the supper of lasagne and chips was very tasty, and we raised over £178 for local charities. We were delighted to welcome regular guests Steve and Vi & their 6 friends, Martin, Carole, Ann & Colin, Dave & Gill and Martin & Christine. We also were pleased to meet Emlyn and Rosemary's friends too for the first ( but hopefully not the last ) time. Thanks to everyone who came and supported our fundraising efforts, as well as Paul for all his hardwork in organising the teams and getting 80 questions together. See you all is November, if not before.

Crocuses spelling out a most important message - END POLIO NOW

We are involved with Rotary's push to rid India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Nigeria of polio and hence ensure our children, and their children, will never know the crippling affects of this disease.
