Council and meeting at Chris and Brian's in Norton

As the Baron was closed over Christmas the Price's kindly offered to host our monthly Council meeting and lunch at their Norton home.


This was a relaxed and enjoyable meeting in President Chris and Brian's home. The hosts worked hard to keep us all happy and they succeeded admirably. With chilli con carne and a choice of sweets everyone came away content. A little bit of business was conducted and there was a lot of banter amongst the good turnout of members and guests on the day. We welcomed Heather and Jack for lunch and confirmed our warm welcome to our newest members Emlyn and Rosemary Williams. President Chris summarised Rosemary's career and interests while Norman did the same for Emlyn. Emlyn was Rotarian in France and we look forward to hearing more about that in due course. The afternoon finished with a dressing down for all members by our Sargeant at Arms Eileen - always amusing! And this frugal lunch raised additional funds for our charitable efforts.
