This was an very interesting talk. Phil lost his wife to APS a few years ago and has travelled the country to increase awareness of the disease which is colloqually known as "sticky blood" It is a recently discovered disease that can be a factor in heart attacks, strokes and miscarriages in young people under 50 years old. It is often misdiagnosed and the APS society have produced short courses for doctors that may not be aware of it as a diagnosis in the above conditions. Phil explained how he was visiting Rotary Clubs to increase awareness within the public but also the medical profession. You can read more on the NHS and APS website....
