This was a well attended evening, with 10 teams vying for the winning bottle of fizz. Quiz master Paul plyed us with a a selection of questions varying from nearly impossible ( what is the tittle in tittle?) to quite easy ( what does "bar tat" mean on Ikley Moor) The top scores were 59&1/2 and 59 and because of a minor disagreement over the awarding of points it went to the tie break "how many countries competed in the 2016 summer Olympics". Andrea of the Wigmore Courtiers ( Andrea, Colin, Ivan and Cathy) answered with a guess of 204 - the correct answer was 205! But the prizes were shared with pipped second placed KIm, Sheila, Norman and Margaret. What a fun way to raise nearly £200 for the Breast Cancer Haven. With good food, good company and great atmosphere we look forward to the next one in February ( either the 15th or 22nd TBC)
